Challenge:
The client is a Grandma who lives in the bonus room and cares for her grandchildren. The space is her bedroom, living room, craft room and office…
Goals:
She wanted to feel at "home" and not like she was living above the garage but functionality was just as important as beauty.
Solution:
By using all of her own things but adding a large room divider which eliminated many smaller pieces, I was able to give her a complete “apartment” with a defined space for each of her activities. Her response? “Hmmm, I never thought of that!”
